[first Look] Kershaw Nura 3.0 and Nura 3.5

Sinkevitch? Why YES please! His designs are unmistakeable. Very much digging the 3.5 and their price points don't hurt too.

Thanks for sharing 9Blades! I like the 3.5 better. Does it also have an external bladestop like the Strobe?

Wish this would've been a ZT production knife made in the USA with ti and a better steel.

Agreed! It has the slick looks plus KVT. Add titanium frame lock, full titanium handles and Elmax or M390 and people will be lining up. Of course, both the 3.0 and 3.5 models!

I love the TILT-like angle on the handle and the neat and classic bladeprofile. Should be a sleek and pocketfriendly EDC with addictive action ;)
The lip of the pocketclip worries me a bit ... Looks to like it´s going to be a scratching champion the way it points out from the handle, I could be wrong though.

As for wishing it was ZT model Ill agree with that but doesnt it look alittle like the 0888? Maybe its just me.....

Why would they want to make essentially another ZT0801?

First the Camber and now this... These first look threads keep changing my mind on the new Kershaw designs.
I was looking at all of those CRKT knives to try out bearings, but I think I like this one better.

Why would they want to make essentially another ZT0801?

Not everyone is a fan of the looks of the 0801. I know if they made the 0454 in the same simple platform as the 0801 It would buy one. Plus Kershaw and ZT make a lot of knives that are similarly spec'd yet with different shapes.

It's like saying why would they make the 0562 as a smaller 0560. The lines on the Nura are unique and it seems thinner than 0801. The Nura 3.0 as a ZT with titanium and Elmax/M390 is something to look forward to. Even a 0801 Mini with a 3" blade. The ZT line only has one regular production flipper with full titanium.

I like the design, but I'm not crazy about the materials. I'd be all over a US made version with good blade steel.
