Never used it before, the fine, airborne dust seems to hang in the air forever if it gets away from the shop vac.
Blade 4", handle 4.25" white liner, thought the gray JB Weld would look good against the black linen Micarta, wish I hadn't used it now though.
Taking everything toward a mirror-like finish highlights all my problem areas so now I go back and work the blade to catch all I can and then finalize it with a satin-ish 600 grit.IMG_20170526_160715.jpg IMG_20170526_155710.jpg
 
Good start. I'm sure there will be more of these "little surprises" as you go. Just so you know.

Thanks Frank, I need to remove the platen on my new grinder and round the edges, it keeps digging in on the plunge lines. I might like it one day but right now I miss the old familiars. Then again, I haven't used one in almost nine years so maybe it's just me.
