First neck knife - mid level

The BM 210tk Activator is my current edc neck knife. It has a great blade, superb steel, and an ergonomic and not to a mention beautiful handle. I would definately recomend it.

My EDC is a Camillus Cuda Arclite in D2 with a handle I've wrapped in paracord. It is a very usable and handy knife.
HOWEVER----
If you are going to get a neck knife, PLEASE consider a stainless one. D2 may be called "semi-stainless" by some people, but here in humid, sweaty Houston, this knife rusts easily if I am out working for very long on a hot day.
The same would probably be true for the beautiful file knife mentioned above. It looks awesome and would probably be a great knife, but file steel is not anywhere near stainless, and if you intend to sweat at all while wearing your neck knife, I would seriously consider some kind of stainless, unless you simply enjoy regular cleaning/maintenance of the knife to remove and prevent rust.
When I bought my Arclite from AG Russell, they had them in both D2 and 420 HC. If I had it to do over again, I'd get the same knife in 420.
Just my humble 2 cents worth based upon a couple of years of everyday carry in the real world.

My question is what is your purpose. I often wear a necker in the yard and garden or in the woods. I mostly carry a AG Russell Woodswalk or a Mora. I do have a Buck Hartsook, but I wish it was a tad bigger. For a good general knife, I'd look at the Buck Mayo.

I have even for my RAT-3 as a neck knife.

I do not carry FOR self defense. I have a CCW and carry a handgun for that purpose.

Thanks to everyone.

I ended up ordering a Buck Mayo Kaala from Knifeworks and a Blind Horse Knives small Tiger Knap with neck sheath.

Much appreciated on all the suggestions.
