heh, i recently got one too...you can have the black scales and hardware if you want since i prefer the orange ones. i need the fruity colors to tone down my manliness :p

Just ordered myself a 14 a few hours ago! I really can't wait to get it! I am having it sent off to tuffthumbz to get some nice custom scales so I won't have it for a while :/ how sad! It's gunna be a long wait!

Hey Riley, picked up one of those Bahco's today at MEC... $17 bucks in-store. I now finally have a folding saw!
 
Just realized I got a Bahco Expert...not Laplander. Otherwise looks identical (save for mine is blaze orange, not OD). Are they pretty much the same thing, or did I get the economy model?

If I had a beautiful Gransfors Bruks like that, I'd probably carry it even if I didn't use it lol.

i think you're good to go. i googled it and the teeth count seems to be made for hardwood too - there are several bahco models that are made for wood. you'll know pretty quickly if it's for bone since it won't cut into wood at all, it'll bind up. i actually prefer an orange handle if they sold that version here - way harder to lose in the woods.
