First Nice Folder - Assisted Opener

HK/Benchmade 14460 Blitz - 154cm steel, G-10, dual-titanium liners, 2.7 oz., 4.6" closed, 3.4" blade. Around $100 street price when it's released. (You can also get it without the serrations and blade coating)

CRKT Hissatsu Folder - AUS8 steel, 5.0" Zytel handle with dual-nested stainless liners, 3.9" blade, 5.8 oz. $55-$60 street price when it's released.

The Kershaw Leek, in any form (especially the G-10 handle versions), are a great buy at under $60.

lux, the Leek is a Ken Onion design as well.

AA, good luck with your quest.

oh yeah,I see now, excuse me,i'm a newbie.

with my question i meant how the leek compares with the others knives of the same brand in the same price range, and that's because i don't understand why there's a lot of talking about the leek and, for example, nothing about the storm, which is a model that i really like.

i've narrowed down the choice to the leek, the storm and the SOG.

and thank u guys for all of your suggestions, really really precious,it's not easy making a choice with all that stuff out there(and with all the chinese cr*p replica i'd add) ;)

The Zero Tolerance 300 series is indeed a heckuva knife.

I've had several of the Kershaw assisted-openers...and the Benchmade apparition as well...and now the ZT 300.

If you want a thin, small knife, go with the Kershaw. I've given away/sold all my others....the ZT is here to stay. It is an awesome folder, quality production, opens nicely and feels great - even though it's hefty.

Best of luck with your decision.

Do some research, and find your self the limited edition ZDP 189 Leek with titanium handle. The Leeks always were bullet proof, this one is bomb proof.
