Just finished this one yesterday, first of 2009. I hope there will be many more.
6" blade 10 1/2" OAL
1095 and 15N20
stainless fittings, and a piece of stag that I have had for about 30 years.

Absolutely beautiful! Great flow, great details, and you gotta love the recurve. What pattern is the blade?

Damn that knife is smokin! I'll bet it feels real good to use something that has been hangin around for 30 years and execute it like that.:thumbup:

For some reason seems like the more I work on them the better they get.

Mike, I like it too. Nice twisted damascus and good choice stag. The double guard is nice and thin with just the right angle at the tips. Smooth flow with beautiful lines but....you did say all comments are welcome right?
I think the recurve is too extreme. I think the grind line should paralell the edge. If it were me and I would nip that pointy tittie off to match the grind line. You would still have a killer recurve and the blade profile would benefit. Dont send hate mail, I'm not Nick Wheeler.

Bruce: Thats the kind of feedback I was looking for,so no hate mail. Just opinions, some are good some are not. I do listen, this is how I've learned a lot of what I know.(not that I know very much)
Nick has never commented on any of my post,so I can still reserve the right to the hate mail.

Its good you took it as intended. Its an awesome gents bowie as is.
