Hello
This is the Machadinho (small axe head), the first of my new designs to see the light. It started as one of ends of the bar that you don't know what to do with and become a very functional little blade that allows use either as a neck knife, in the front or back pocket or even in a keychain.
This knife is aproximatelly 2 1/4" long and handles very nicely thanks to the cord attached to it, that acts as a part of the handle. It is made of 5mm thick K-100 tool steel, satin finished and the chisel ground edge is around 1 3/8"long. For all those of you who wanted to try the K-100 steel on a more utilitarian design, here it is!
The Machadinho comes with a Concealex sheath for neck or pocket use and the usual leather sheath that goes with each one of my knives.
I am finishing a few of these with both left and right ground edges and delivery should be in about ten days.
