Finished my first knife today. It's .125 titanium. I cut the rough shape with a hack saw, the used a dremel for the right corners and the rest was done on a harbor freight 1x30. I am not to happy with the outcome but I'm sure it will get better once I do a few more. I didn't have a torch so I used my back pack drive to heat anodize it hahaha. I'm gonna out some g10 but jut through a quick corp wrap on it for the pics. Let me know what you guys think.

Interesting start for and EDC blade. Sized right. You can flat sand on a glass pane with wet dry and water if you need a cleaner appearance till you get better equip...finest I would go is 600 which gives a nice satin finish without as much hand work.

I thought about trying flat sand it but besides the way it looks it works good. It's really hard to get any kind of even grind with the pos belt sander I am using. But I figure if I an learn on this it will be a joy with something nicer.

JGguns,

How would you finish on the edge? I read about the edge retention of TI and some has gotten it carbidized.
