Well, I got some 1095 in the mail and I started today. This will be my first go at making one from scratch. It will be a small neck knife type that I will make a cross draw sheath for my belt. I got a start on the shaping today. On the handle end, I will drill a hole about the size of my finger to go through. I will do some gimping on the top. I learned some from this project already. Give me you guys honest feedback so far. Its about 1" tall and approx 4 -5" long.

Very nice, as long as it's comfy in hand. How thick is it?
