After collecting knives for a decade I finally pulled the trigger on a Chris Reeves, specifically a small Inkosi. Like everyone I have read a lot of great press on these knives and I have also seen a lot of people say they are not worth it. I never bought into the not worth it argument due to the quality awards. However I could agree with people who thought they were not for them. Heck there are a lot of knives out there that are of exceptional quality but they are not my cup of tea. At any rate, I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Amazing quality, simple yet elegant, I cannot stop handling it. I think I am going to thin my current collection to get a large.

Congadulations on your first CRK. I've been carrying a Lg Sebenza 21 tanto for the last five years and could not be more pleased with it or the other four CRK'S in my collection. This may be your first but it will most likely not be your last.

Posting pics is a PITA. Any suggestions?

My phone tends to take pics too large to post, so I email them to myself to shrink the size and then just use the "upload file" tab below where you type your message.

Also, congrats! I finally pulled the trigger on my first this passed April after a looooong time of being on the fence. Since then I've owned four and still have two, going to add a third in a few weeks.

The quality, warranty and design are just so perfect. It's such a wonderful feeling to have something made to such high standards in my pocket every single day. Welcome to the CRK family!

Open an account at imgur . It's as easy as it gets: download the app, upload your pics, copy paste the link here. Done and done.

Just make sure you upload your pics private, not public, otherwise you'll have all the know-nothing-goofs still living in moms basement commenting on how knives are evil, etc.

Congats! You definitely will not regret getting a large to go with the small.

I second Imgur account, that is the easiest way I have found.

This is the new kinder and gentler El Dub?

Trying not to scare them off with the other pics?
What's the story on the one on the lower right? Custom clip on the wrong side?

Just easing the poor guy into his future. ;) Don't worry, I can bring out more if I need to. :p

Yep, that was a P that someone attached a clip to.

The first time you leave your CRK at home and carry something else for the day, you will feel an overwhelming longing for it. This will never go away my friend. I LOVE my Benchmades, Spyderco's, love my Case knives and hell, even my Boker's, but nothing compares. I try to carry my 940 or my foray from time to time, but they never make it past the front door. Congrats on the new knife!!! More will come sooner than you think

I bought my first Sebenza this year. A small w/ micarta inlays.

The micarta has grown to be my favorite by far. I want to by a large plain, but feel I would regret not making all my future Sebezan micarta.

Anyone get hooked on inlays or are the plains equally as great?

Hi Ridley75,

Welcome to the Chris Reeves hobby/obsessive/illness. In my opinion your next CRK should be a 21 Micarta Tanto Blade.

Congrats on your first CRK and yes like you i have thinned out my collection with pretty much everything but my CRK. Instead my CRK is growing. BEWARE THE BUG IS CONTAGIOUS. :D

Congrats my first CRK was a small Inkosi even though it was just Inkosi when I got it ;). It's been my daily carry for like a year and a half now. I have other CRK's but they are secondary to the my Inkosi

Welcome!

Regarding pictures, I agree with mt666, open an imgur account and go from there. I just opened one yesterday to replace my prior Photobucket.

...as you can see below, I now need to transfer my posted photos.

Congratulations on your first CRK, may it serve you well. Since you can't seem to take your hands off of it o_O, I guess the only other thing you can do is to start carrying two knives so the others won't feel neglected.
If nothing else, get it's big brother and have the pair. That should cover all your bases from a practical standpoint, but then again, not to many here are practical :p
