Update: after slicing up and apple with breakfast and dicing a lemon for my nalgene of water, the clip blade is already getting a nice patina.... such a great feeling hah
Besides a rather off centre clippoint blade my Chestnut bone Peanut is picture perfect.
The color of the handle is a nice deep warm brown and even on both sides.
I sanded the handle a bit to give it a more pocket worn look, matching the patined blades .
I took a 1000 grit and 1600 grit to the handle and after that some polishing paste.
The handle looks like the knife has been in my pocket for years, but the deep brown color is still exactly the same.
