Steel: 80crv2
Thickness: 1/4" (6.3 mm)

Handle: Red jute micarta with black paper micarta spacer, black liners and copper pins

I have two electric kilns, one for higher temps and other one for lower temps, mainly for tempering. Blades are quenched in fast quenching oil. Here is short video of two knives I made out of an old files:
