First post and a rant about CRKT

I've got several crkt's and have had no problem with rust, and I'm a fat guy that sweats like a hog. If you're having a problem with the m-16 you should contact crkt and at least give them a chance to fix the problem. I think you'll be pleased with the customer service. As far as the steels being downgraded yes that sucks but they didn't make it a secret and so far my experience with aus 4 has not been half bad. good luck, ahgar
 
M16-13 here, aluminum handles with Aus-8 blade, No signs of any rust or discoloring. This has been my work beater for a few weeks now. It does get wet during the course of the day, slashing water lines and that sort of thing. Goes back in my pocket after a quick wipe on my pants leg.
 
I am thinking about taking it apart and either sanding and polishing the liners, or painting a clear coat over the top of them.
