Well, This is my first post and I must say that after reading the 41 page modding the Trail Hawk (2 or 3 times) that CitizenQ started I was ready to purchase a Trail Hawk right there. I found this forum while looking at what people thought of the Cold Steel Hawks and this place did not let me down. I had already asked the wife for a Trail Hawk and a Rifleman's Hawk for Christmas and she did not let me down either - not only did I get the Trail and Rifleman - I also got the Frontier, the Norse and the Trail Boss. I was told "You'll ask for those sooner or later, so I decided to save you the trouble".
I would post pics of them, but they are at my Dad's house. He looked at them and the ideas I had (most came from this forum) and told me to leave them there. He retired in October of this year and is bored out of his mind. He loves to do that sort of thing, normally he makes knives out of files and rasps and this is something different. Since I will be throwing these (started throwing knives and hatchets at age 12 - now I'm 36) I figure they will need repair and I can do that when I get a chance. A full time job, wife and a two year old doesn't leave a alot of time for me.
