Welcome Neverone99, like most have said, that's a great first choice, you can't go wrong. The SBJ was one of my first as well, and I took a chance on a used one off the 'Bay, and even my (lightly) used SBJ is phenomenal. But wow, look at the difference in scales in comparison to Pauls! I have to say Paul, I' a little jealous...That's got to be one of the best looking SBJ's I've seen. BTW, I'm carrying my stag SBG today:thumbup:
Thanks you for the response.Case uses the CV tang stamp when their high carbon blade steel is used. From what I have read, Case's current "CV" steel is a 1085 high carbon steel with chromium and vanadium added.
Yup. With case you get either the CV (which is carbon steel) or their Stainless Steel. Most here seem to prefer the CV as it will patina and look like an old timey knife.
