Thanks for the kind words.
I just grabbed an old elk shed I had lying around and chopped a chunk of it I thought would fit and then chopped that piece in half lengthwise with the chopsaw. Then I traced the handle and went to work with the dremel, sawing at first and then sanding to a rough shape. I counterbored the screws with a drill and then tried to make the nut side into a hex shape with the dremel (this is where I need some practice). I put the nuts and bolts in and marked the length for the bolts and then cut them to length with the dremel. It is a little rough, but for my first one and for a guy with limited tools it turned out allright. I ordered some KaBar Johnson piggybacks for inexpensive practice knives and I will be working on some more soon.
I love Warriors' BK2, I want to do my 2 with stag as well. I think a stripped blade and a nice leather sheath with stag handles would look really classy. I love a tactical knife, but also really appreciate some fine wood, leather, bone, stag, etc. I see knives like I see women, I enjoy all types.
