Hi guys, I've been lurking here for a while and I wanted to post and tell you all that I think this is probably the best forum on knives in general that I have found. I've gone on a bit of a spree lately since I have finally found some good blades that I couldn't resist. Like many people I was just happy with the box stores for a long time, but I knew that there had to be better blades out there for me and I've finally found them. I owe you all a big thank you for the information, references and resources to convert me from amateur knife enthusiast to certifiable knife nut.

My small collection right now includes a Kershaw Needs Work (Red), Spyderco Tenacious, LH Spyderco Military, Ka-bar Large Heavy Bowie and a Cold Steel Finn Bear with a Mora SS Army on the way. For many years before this my goto EDC was a S&W Spec OPS that I paid $12 for. Its not bad but I think I got lucky with it. I look forward to a long relationship with my knives and this site.

Welcome to the forum. I bet your knife collection will double over the next year.

There's no turning back now homes...You f&* % up homes, ..... You joined a gang. (Frog) Colors-1988

My first post too...... And I think we need pics of your collection.

My collection has just started as I also went on a small spree, and some are still coming in the mail. Also headed to Gander Mountain today to satisfy this nasty urge!

Welcome to Blade Forums. IMO, the absolute best resource ever for knife and knife related information. Here you have real people using real knives in real life situations. Where else can you get real feedback on almost any knife out there! :D

Oh, and hold on to your wallet, it's gonna start feeling awful light!

Welcome to Blade Forums Tailsin!!!

Do you like magic ? Because soon you will see your money disappear and knives magically appear on your doorstep.:D

Welcome, my collection has also grown quite a bit in the last few months. I've taken extra shifts just to pay for knives that I don't need, but really really want! ha. But seriously this could be an expensive place to be. I agree that there are some great folks here that have taught me a lot about knives, what makes a good knife, etc. Glad youre here, and post pics if you can, we are all so visually stimulated!!

This is so f*cking true. In the several months I've been on here I have seriously gone from 7 to 14 knives... I love/hate this site :)

You asked for it. It took me a bit today to get these taken.

I think I'm in trouble.

Looks like you're off to a great start.

Your wallet will hate you for posting here soon enough. Mine is still on life support. :D

Welcome. One of the biggest reasons a lot of us buy so knives is something you just did......post pics of your knives. We see pics of knives that we want to get. It's all part

of the madness that keeps us coming back as often as we do. Just wait until you start waiting for the brown truck(UPS) and the mailman the way some of do.:D;)

Yea. It took me a few extra pictures to get the quality I wanted in them. And yea, I'm already waiting on the mail trucks with fervent anticipation. Though not everything I'm getting is a knife. Its stuff that will let me use my knifes more :D

Welcome to the family! Nice pics. This is my favorite knife forum. I am sure you will really like this group.

Run away dude!

Get used to spending all of your spare cash on blades. This forum has helped me part with more $ than I want to talk about! My knife problem started out innocently enough but with the help of this forum and my local knife store I have now have a full blown addiction.

Well, it looks like your collection so far has knives from 6 different companies. Unfortunately, this disqualifies you from manufacturer <fill in the blank> fanboi status. :)

You know, I hadn't thought of it that way, but you're right. I found myself thinking last week that I really wanted to get a Benchmade to try them out, and then I got the Morpho.

I'm still trying to find something that I like from Boker. I will probably end up getting one of their fixed blades. I'm just not digging any of their folders. Also, a Buck 110 is on the list of knifes that I want to get.

Buck is a good one. Are you traditional, or more modern? Case and USA Schrade are a few nice ones for traditional.

I haven't really made a decision on that yet, but I am going to have to say that I have more modern leanings. I haven't really looked into the traditional knives all that much yet. I do have an old Schrade "Old Timer" that I got from my mother. It is probably older than I am. It needs some TLC at the moment, but I am going to work it into my EDC rotation to try it out.

Welcome to the forums!

Are you a lefty? Just wondering, because you have a left-handed Military, but your other knives look to be set up for right-hand carry. I know that being a lefty myself has saved me a lot of money--it keeps me from buying all sorts of knives!
