First Purchase after joining BF

Just wanted to say thanks for the advice Hawk. Instead of buying a bunch of cheap knives all at once, I decided to get one expensive knife. I ended up with a ZT0770CF that is an absolutely amazing knife. If I hadn't heard Hawks advice, I would have spent the same amount on 4 or 5 cheaper folders and would have missed out on one hell of a knife. Thanks again for the good advice, if you're ever in Atlanta, I owe you a beer.

That is quite the nice entry into the knife world! Welcome and congratulations! I look forward to seeing pictures of the 0770CF. Be careful, though, that carbon fiber is addicting stuff; soon you'll want it on all of your knives. :)

Any Spyderco in the Sage series...various lock systems or in the Caly series...all great folders

Very nice! I've always enjoyed the looks of the 0770CF.

For a Spyderco suggestions, to match your ZT entry, take a look at the Spyderco Caly 3.5 CF. You'll get another very nice carbon fiber handled knife, a Spyderco classic design, and some incredible steel to test out.

Hi, I'm new to the forum as well. Not as new to knives. I highly recommend the kershaw shallot. Everytime I've tried to replace it as edc it comes back the next day.

Kershawguy has some great deals on these, especially the Damascus models.
