I bought this tan Izula from knivesshipfree as a back up to my tan Son of Dogfather. This is my first R.A.T. although I have drooled for quite a while over the RC3 & RC4. I love this knife so much that I am going to place an order for at least three more. I have been carrying this one all week and see the need to have it on my hip all the time!! I know my wife will like the pink one. Anyway I took a few pics and figured I would share them, my SOD is off getting some new clothes so just the Izula and a few other rats for now.

I can't wait to get this little baby sheathed up with the SOD and get out in the brush!! I will post pics of the whole rig when I get it back from River-8.

Also a suggestion for the RAT team, I would like to see the Izula in a bright orange, would probably go over well with the SAR crowd as well.
 
Glad it arrived safely. We should have several dozen more in the next week or so.

Your pics make me lust for the arrival of my tan Izula even more. My black and OD need some company.:D
 
I like the tan alot! I am excited to get a couple in black and a least one in OD and pink. I am half tempted to strip a black one and paint it orange.
 
I'd go for blaze orange in a heartbeat. I don't know if I'm man enough to carry a pink knife.

It would be pretty hard to misplace one in the woods.

i would definitely buy a blaze orange one... that is a great idea P...:D
 
Nice collection Snakedoc.

You must have placed your order minutes before I did. I got the desert tan Izula number 0480. However, you'll have to trust me on that because I promptly wrapped my handle.

Thanks. I'm working on sending you a PM, but I can't quite get it to work.

ETA
When I got the Izula, I went right ahead with wrapping the handle. While doing it, I cut my hand. No, I didn't cut my hand on the blade. I wanted the cord-wrap to be solid, so I pulled it real tight with each pass. The cord ended up cutting into my hand :) Well, it's on there pretty firmly!
 
Welcome to the Family Snakedoc. Great looking tan Izula, waiting for mine to go along with my black one. Will probably do a wrap job on it like my black and proto Izulas.
