Hey mathman, I waited about three weeks or so, but...

...it was part of an "Extravaganzaaaa" sale at the Busse shop.

...and you're right, the SS is no longer available from SR. They're out there, however. Three of them (2 coated, 1 satin) just sold over on the Exchange forums. Seems like the D2 version is a little harder to find. I have one guy who *might* contact me about selling his D2 SS, but I'm not holding my breath.

For hardcore users, I generally gravitate to kydex. Lightweight, cleans up easily, dries fast, no worries about getting wet on a hunt or a hike. Still, I was thinking about leather on this one for some reason. Dwayne does have a pattern knife--I already checked. Going to mull it over some more.

Definetly contact leatherman to get some pants. You can go extreme user or do it up real nice with inlays / carvings etc....... Either way he makes some badass sheaths. Nice snag!!
