I just looked at the spyderco delica knife and it looks nice. fun to just look at. A little out of my price range though.

Email me your address and I will send you my Delica for free that has never been used. I bought it and an Endura at the same time and just never used it.

Welcome to the forums!

That would be great. I'll have to ask my dad though... Don't know how he would feel about someone sendin me a knife in the mail. He might let me cuz we have a PO box. What's the catch...?

If you had an online store or something you could just send it to me from there.

EDIT No one better steal my deal! :D

EDIT 2: Thanks again!!! (yes... im usin 3 !'s.)

EDIT 3: What's the catch...?

No catch. Just want to help out a guy who would like a nice little knife.... and I'm not using it and thats a shame - it should go to a good home.
email ( dreamphish@aol.com ) me your PO Box or where ever you want it sent to and I'll get it in the mail Monday.

Can I have one, too. ;)

I just talked to my dad and he said I'm not giving out an address over the internet. He said that if my report card is good (im a straight A student and i get the report card in 2 weeks) he'll probably let me.

I doubt that he'll let me buy my buck knife if there is a free Spyderco Delica on the table which is normally twice the price.

Thanks. I'll tell you when/if my dad says its ok through email. Mine's GroovyGnome72@msn.com.

You can get some good deals on spydercos on e-bay. I just got a spyderedge endura for under 40bucks which I thought was a good deal. Got a dodo for under 70. The delica really is a good all round blade.

Good luck groovy! Don't start any trouble now! ::cough foldingfreak ::cough (our former resident troll)

Who's foldingfreak...?

I'm not getting into any trouble because of a knife I'm not stupid and know how to handle one. I even checked the laws ;)

That's it... I had enough. I'm gonna save the extra 20$ and buy me a Spyderco Delica, 3", partially seratted folding knife with volcano grip on both sides, a thumb hole for one hand opening, and a pocket clip. I've heard nothing but good about this knife and I think it's worth the extra money.

Folding Freak is a troll that would say the most random things. He got banned at least 6 times. Groovy, wish ya the best of luck, my mom wouldn't lemme touch a knife, so I brought like 6 w/o her permission, got them all confiscated. (that was like 150$ worth of knives)

Personaly if this is going to be your only good knife I would go with something a little bigger. Perhaps a 110 or Endura. Also, if you dont mind me asking, Will you be carrying the knife for self defence? If you will be You should go with something bigger than the Delica (wich is still a great knife from what ive heard). Good luck in your buying. :)

The Delica seems perfect. I'd never bring a knife to a fight, but even a 3" blade is good enough if they don't know you have it (element of surprise is the only true advantage in a knife fight). I don't need a knife to win a fight I'm a black belt ;) haha. It will be my only good knife but I don't want something bigger than 4"... 3-3.5" is big enough. People get scared when they see a 13-year-old packin a 4 inch blade. Endura seems just like a bigger version of the Delica so I'm considering it.

You can never have too many good knives. For $100 you could get

1. Buck 110 (for heavy duty stuff and SD) $40
2. Victorinox Tinker ( for light cutting and screw driver use) $18
3. Ka-Bar USMC full size model (good to keep next to your bed for things that go bump in the night) $40

Problem is... I don't have 100$. I have like 7 swiss knives... 2 victorinox. I have 2 that mimic the Buck 110 but the locks broke after I oiled them with WD-40. Now I'm after the Spyderco Delica!

By Ka-Bar USMC you mean 12 inch security blanket? ;)

The real 110s lock wont break. Try making a deal with your parents for knives.
My mom gave me a ka-bar for getting good grades on my last report card in my sophmore year in highschool. Perhaps some persuasive talking and you could have the same models I listed. I own all three of them and they are great knives. :)

Only 7", but it's one helluva knife. Most guys remove the top guard. The Camillus version is just as niceand slightly cheaper

I have the scars to prove my lock broke after sharpening my knife... not a scar yet I still have the cut

That's the deal I'm working on now he said I can get a Buck knife if I get good grades. Not a problem... I'm a straight A student. If he'll let me get a buck knife I'm assuming he'll let me get a Delica... maybe every few months I can add somethin' to my collection.

I want four knives:

Spyderco Delica
Buck Access 3.0
Ka-Bar Dozier
Buck 110

Four report cards in the year... ;)
