First Sage - 1 or 2?

I only have the sage2. I like the simple design that the Ti framelock gives you.
 
I would say Sage 1, but I just read a post on another forum saying the Sage 1 seems to be out of stock at most dealers. Sounds like your decision is made for you if the 1 is not available.
 
I received my Sage 1 over the weekend, and I have to say that I'm blown away. This knife somehow managed to exceed the lofty expectations that came with it. I generally remove the pocket clip from all of my sub 3" folders, and this thing just disappears in the pocket. It's fast, sturdy, and looks amazing. Ergos are great - love the forward choil. My sweet spot for most of the knives I buy is in that $75 - $125 range...this is by far the most bang for the buck I've received in that range. I was skeptical of the Taiwan production, but I now understand why Sal is willing to stand so firmly by the folks in Taichung. They are producing exceptional work.
