Well it could be much better. Few things I need to have next time: vise, drill press, scribe saw.
The bottom is a little chewed up as you can see.. Not sure how you are suppose to get in there with the sander.
I didn't open up the wire breaker thingy, only the bottle opener (bk11).
I kind of rushed this a tad as I wanted to have it done in time for a hunting trip.

Feel free to be harsh ;) this was my first go.

Good job, it'll wear in nicely with use.
For the hard to get at spots, wrap sandpaper on something that'll reach in there - pencil, stick, spoon, butter knife, file, etc.

did you glue the two colors together! i like to work with micarta as well,i bet your next try will come out a little nicer, but this really isn't that bad all.

Pretty standard micarta build. I used Fiberglass resin and fire hose cloth

I think you did an outstanding job. Can you get into that tight spot and sand with a Dremel. I love that color for the scales. Can you explain a little about how you made the micarta.

I did a standard you tube style fiberglass epoxy build. (No glass)
I used 2 different color fire hose jacket from old hose that was getting thrown away.
Not sure if you can tell from the pic but there's a few soft thread spots. I don't think it absorbed as good as a lighter weight fabric would. It feels nice in the hand though.. Kinda rugged

Turned out great, and a nice knife to upgrade with beefier grips as well. The best kind of thread, makes me want to try it myself, but with some denim or canvas - I don't have any old fire hose...).

Oh yeah, I bet blue denim would be awesome. I'm going to research this progress.

look really nice. I love the color choices. You should look in to using a dremel, however, make sure you are using a multi-speed. You mentioned soft spots as well. For this you really need a vise or form. You can make a quick form out of wax, or even wood ( if you use wood you need to coat with a release agent such as hydrolic oil, petrolum jelly, or even veg. oil)
