I requested some advice on a first sewing project and a few folks suggested a lean-to.. Well, I made one!

Caveats:

A) Should have double-folded the seams, these don't look nice and finished. Also should have made the seams wider.

B) It's half-sized, since I figured I would learn the same amount, but only use half the material. :)

C) I have NO trees nearby that I can set this up with, and no long sticks, so it's lookin' pretty shaky on my back deck.

D) The dog seems to like it.

Very cool.

Good lookin' dog too ;). Put a pad down for him/her and you may just lose that one to the pooch.

I'm thinking it's already lost to the pooch.

Good on you for getting on with the sewing. Once you get some practice there's a ton of equipment you can custom make for yourself (and me :D)

Also very smart to make scaled down projects - less waste while learning.

Keep us posted with your progress.
