First Sewing project - the Whelen Lean-to

I requested some advice on a first sewing project and a few folks suggested a lean-to.. Well, I made one!

Caveats:

A) Should have double-folded the seams, these don't look nice and finished. Also should have made the seams wider.

B) It's half-sized, since I figured I would learn the same amount, but only use half the material.

C) I have NO trees nearby that I can set this up with, and no long sticks, so it's lookin' pretty shaky on my back deck.

D) The dog seems to like it.

Good lookin' dog too . Put a pad down for him/her and you may just lose that one to the pooch.

Good on you for getting on with the sewing. Once you get some practice there's a ton of equipment you can custom make for yourself (and me )

Also very smart to make scaled down projects - less waste while learning.
