Just finished sewing up my first leather sheath for my No. 2 knife.
I went a bit crazy and put a firesteel loop, mini-bic lighter, and a small tin pouches.

What do ya think?

Cheers.

The loop is a pretty tight fit at the moment. The cord for fire steel can also be hooked around the bottom of the steel.

Thanks guys.

Sharp eye, pretty much that was the idea. I don't smoke any more so I don't carry a lighter unless I'm bush (and usually forget unless it's in my rat 7 sheath), I'll put some fire straws and water purification tabs in the tin I've got a watch band compass on the fire steel and I think that should cover me.

Very, very nice setup. It's good to see leather being for survival kit/sheaths as well. Nice work.

Very nice. I like the components.

It's so much fun making a custom sheath. My fingers get sore but I really enjoy watching it come together.

Very cool sheath, I like how much you packed into it! Complements the knife well, too. Speaking of which, what knife is that?

Awesome job on your first sheath, by the way!

Hey thanks guys, now I just need some time off work to go bush and test it. ;)

Kyp, It's my second attempt at serious knifemaking. See here for the thread.
