First slippies, how'd I do

First impressions
Case sodbuster in cv- razor sharp, easy to open, fair fit/finish, excellent overall for price point

Case muskrat in cv- easy to open, blades sit perfectly parallel, Beautiful fit/finish with no light through bolsters, both blades are razor sharp... my only complaint is how bright the red bone is.

Case large trapper in cv- one blade easy to open the other takes real effort, good fit/finish with no light through the bolstera, the upper half of the spey blade did not shave hair easily but that was fixed with 6 strops per side with green compuond.

Case stockman in cv- VERY DISAPPOINTED the knife is sharp but the spey blade is to tight and cannot come out with a finger nail, Won't even come out with the file on my nail clippers. I got it out with soft jewelers pliers but it it very "gritty" and did not loosen with several openings. This was the pattern I was looking forward to the most.

Boker stockman carbon steen- all three blades razor sharp, after stropping it shaved hair with MINIMAL effort, all blades were easy to open and secure once opened, no light through bolsters and the back springs are more flush than any of the case knives.

Overall, my favorite so far is the case mini muskrat. I really wast the yeller handle cv stockman to work properly, it would be my edc it I could get the spey blade out.
I'll try to post picks in a minute if I can get my dig camera working

Lets see if this works

Fixed the case stockman. Graphite lubricant "lock ease" now I'm happy. Time to start whittling.

You might try soaking them in a mineral oil bath, too. It'll help darken up the bone and soak out grit in the joints.

I give all my knives a hot, hot bath, cleaning with pipe cleaners and oil, and a drop of mineral oil on the pivot(s) when I get them.
