First Snow !!!

We had our first snowfall of the year as I was driving home from work last night so me and Mrs Pit took the dogs out today for some frosty fun !

Lots of trees and branches had come down as expected,

It was often hard to spot the tiny terror against the white background !

I know nobody thinks it snows in California, but we are getting the tail end of the same storm that you got....so it will be snowing tonight in my local mountains! I live in the valley below the snowline, but I can be up in the snow in 30 minutes or so. Best of both worlds....I don't have to shovel snow, but yet I can pop up into the mountains and enjoy it when I like...

Pit, nice shots, seems like a beautiful place to call home. Any of those boats belong to friends of yours by chance? I'm "assuming" they have some dry docks or covered slips or boat houses close by for this time of year? Looks like it won't be long until they become ice sculptures . . .
