Got my first Spyderco folder today. A plain edge VG10 Native. Seem like a sturdy little rascal.
Its a great knife, got mine a bit ago.
I got it for light EDC, heaviest work for this one was small amounts of cardboard cutting. Sooooooo the action was pretty tight, not rough, just really tight. So I sit down to watch Castaway, and flick it open and closed for about an hour. It was still very tight, not much of a difference. I was getting kinda

so I put the blade on table, put a book on top of the blade, and pushed on the handle. Even after repeating this several times, the pivot was STILL fairly restrictive. In the end, I poked the blade between to fence posts and push back and forth hard, and that FINALLY got it to an acceptable level for my knife-sturbation pleasures.
This knife is TOUGH. Before I got this knife, I thought a knife had to have liners to be tough.... I was so wrong.
I'll probably buy another one just for heavy use.
