First Spyderco. Now I'm hooked

So a CBBL Sage is still in the future? I like CBBLs as long the spring is not too strong.
I don't expect them to ever do a Sage BBL. The bolt action lock serves the same basic function, both mechanically and ergonomically.

Spydercos (particularly the military/Pm2/para3 types) are 100% geared toward being a cutting tool. Little concern is given for flash/flair/bells and whistles, and so Spyderco makes some of the best knives dollar for dollar when it comes to steel quality and cutting ability. There are many brands out there in which I would still rather have a simple s30v blade from Spyderco over “super steels” from another.

Hi HP2,

All locks serve the same function. But there are many ways to serve that function. What we do with the Sages is try to offer the variety for personal study and use.

Right. I was curious about the steels. Right now, the Delica 4 can only be had in VG-10, K390 and M390 (bentobox), as far as I know. I was wondering if he had the Delica in any other steels.
I've got Delica's in 20CV, 204P, M390, Damascus, Vtoku2/sus410, ZDP190, S30V and VG10, no K390 yet
just have to look for them when exclusives hit or on the secondary market
here's a picture of a few of them
