  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

First Spyderco. Which one?

Manix 2 based on your selection. I would also recommend Delica. I have many Spydies, carry 3 to 4 a day, but never without at least 1 Delica.

Well, I should have known better than to come on here and ask for opinions. After looking at just about every model and listening to you guys, I now want all of them. I thought I had it down to a native 5 but now I have decided to start out with a more modest model; I am ordering a Delica 4 for starters. I will give it a try before moving on to others. I still think I will end up with a Native5, a Para2 and possibly more. Thanks.....I think.:)

spyderco salt 1

The Pacific Salt 1, and an Endura 4 are next on my list. Been wanting to try H1 and VG10 for awhile now.

Welcome to the addiction. :D
I went through hundreds of Spydies before the 40 or 50 I've finally settled on. :o

Be careful, once you've been bit, you just can't quit. The Spydie bite can be quite costly........and there is no cure ;) For edc, the cf Caly 3.5 is really hard to beat. Sooooo much blade in a compact, thin, and easily carried knife. VG10, Super Blue, or ZDP, they're all great. True classics.

My first was a native. That was over 15 years ago and even now it is my favorite spyderco model
