I'm soon going to purchase my first spydie! I'm looking for a real solid user. I will be using it for cutting plastic wrap and strapping, cardboard, tape and misc pacaging. I use my knives all day every day. I'm going to edc this knife at work so i don't want anything to huge but need some thing of decent size. I currently carry a ful size ritter grip and it is about right in size. I'm thinking of a G-10 delica or a Caly 3. Any recomendations?
Thanks in advance.

Mini Manix if it isn't too big for you. Totally awesome knife; strong, grippy, sharp, looks neat too.

I like the Caly3 over the Delica design and I'd pick it any day. The new G-10 Delica might be fantastic but as a huge fan of the choil and leaf-shaped blade design the Caly3 wins my approval over the Delica. I find the handles most comfortable on the Caly3.

For less money get a delica or endura
For more- Get a para military or military

Ive got a para on the way, from the handfull i owned its the best spydy yet IMO...

+1 on the Caly3. If you are going to be using it that much then get the SE version. I don't have one, and I love the look of PE blades more but I have to admit that a full SE blade has WAY more slicing power than a PE blade. Go with the Caly3, blade preference is up to you. I have the CF ZDP version and I am in love with it. If your budget permits I suggest getting that one, unless you want SE.

This is my thoughts exactly. I EDC Caly3 for more than a year and love it. It is great knife.
The only concern, that Caly3 and G10 Delica smaller than full size Ritter Grip, but it can cut everything what you mentioned without any problem.
