First stabilized block

So…my supplier of segmented scales and blocks turned me onto his supplier of amboyna in Indonesia who is an absolute thrill to order from. I went in with two other makers and made a big order of blocks (25) to be exact. When I got them…a week later (super fast shipping)…they were wet and green. I baked them for several hours then stabilized them for several days. Here is the finished product of one of them so far. Super excited at how well they turned out.
