I'm a Busse infiholic, but you're looking for a knife to suit a purpose and the Fehrman will suit that purpose better for most people. Unless you plan on attaching the HR to a pole for chopping purposes, the Fehrman will work better. The Fehrman will withstand greater lateral force due to its 1/16" additional thickness. It's just a bigger, tougher knife due to it's design. The HR will be a lighter, faster fighting knife, if your jungle is more likely to be downtown KL than the real jungle in the interior.
We all know about or have seen the infi tests and how tough it is, but I've also chopped through chain link fences and ammo cans with my 3/16 Peacemaker with no edge damage whatsoever. so unless you're chopping rocks you'll be hard pressed to find a difference. On the other hand, if your camping isn't very dangerous or task oriented then the HR will definitely be easier to pack around as an emergency tool. But it may look more like a weapon to the K.L. cops over there. Carbon steel in the rainforrest is only an issue if you're not into maintenance. Jeff Randall's been using 1095 for longer than I've been playing in the woods.
You're also looking at about $320 to have the Fehrman shipped with a kydex sheath, and the HR after shipping and a high quality kydex sheath will run a bit more than $350.
The Fehrman will feel good in your hand, the HR with magnum scales (for add'l $35) will feel really good.
Next year the Fehrman will be worth a little less, the HR will be worth a little more, or about the same as what you paid if it's been used hard.
The Fehrman is a really good knife and probably better for jungle work. The HR is a gateway drug.
Something else to note, the FSH or HH will only be better than the Fehrman for most people in the sense that it is more knife. At some point more is just more, and beyond that it can even be too much. I like my HHmagnum plenty, but you have to judge whether you'll use the extra mass or if it'll weigh you down.
