Here's my first take-down !! :D

I've been building this "between knives" and finally finished yesterday, well, almost ;) I think I'm going to do some filework to the 416 stainless spacer on the guard before I call her done

The blade is D2, the guard, butt, and the nut are 655 silicon bronze with one 416 stainless spacer. Handle is wssi stabilized maple. Pics don't do the handle justice. The handle just radiates and shimmers with chatoyance. I also plan on making a custom take-down tool to match the knife. The one in the pics will be my "shop wrench" ;)

Sheath is 9-10 oz veg tanned from Weaver, hand sewn, again by my lovely wife

Blade length is 6-3/8"
Overall length is 11-5/8"

Yes David, its terrific! Very original and you solved some of the problems with take downs and added style at the same time. Nice work man!

Not sure what to add. Amazing and creative work.

Man. That thing is gorgeous!! Breathtaking!

Don't you dare put a file to that!!!! unless the customer wants it. Why gild a lily?

I've been playing with some guard/handle shaping similar to what you've done, I now realize the inadequacies of my work.

Great job.

That is my favorite knife that I have seen from you, Great work, very clean and nice lines! Steven
