First tapered tang

It's been a while since I've posted... I've been too busy with life to get a lot of time in the shop.

It's my first full grind, and tapered tang... I really like how thin I was able to get it behind the edge...It may be some time before I make another scandi ground knife.
Steel is 154cm, slabs are stab. black ash burl with corby rivets.

I was going to try to get $150 for this one with a leather sheath, but I needed to eat so I sold it to my dad for half off. I think he might've gotten a pretty good deal. ;) Thanks for looking.

It definitely adds to the look, but even more so, the feel of the knife doesn't it ?

Yeah I liked the feel, although it really does necessitate the tapered tang to balance the weight. I think most knives would definately be handle heavy if you did a full grind and left the tang thick.
