Hey everyone, I'm Ted Peacher aka Peachsmith. I have recently been introduced to the world of knife making and have been learning under a good friend/mentor Will Woods. I find the working of metal very satisfying and have worked/designed a lot in jewelry/precious metals and also have worked in machining and welding so wanted to try to get this new form of metal work within my grasp. So I am just putting up a few pics of my initial working in this new world of metal. Hope you all enjoy and I will post more pics of process as I try and explore new forms and such. Oh and any input is always welcome. I am still learning and always willing to try something new.

But for now my current Work In Progress:

Thanks triariigroup, those first knives were made in 5160 steel without any real guide except for a rough model from my mentor. Needless to say they are still pre-heat treat and will be cleaned up. But I did do a second round of that style of knife with a few adjustments in design and a laser cut profile for tracing onto the 1084 steel. I also got to explore using a new set-up on a Wilmont grinder that allowed us to really dial in the 30 degree for the chamfer making it cleaner for each knife.
Here are a few process pics of that round:

Here is a picture of the first round and second round side by side so you can see the changes a bit better.
The darker ones are the first round of 5160 blades and the lighter ones are 1084.
