It showed up at the house today. I was totally speechless...

This thing is awesome!

Ok folks..., fess up, what am I getting into here..?? :D

WOW!!

Congrats on a great blade. Great looking pic as well, thanks for sharing it.

It's a fun, but slipperly slope you are now on ;)

:D:D

Nice Pic :cool::cool::cool:

For the slippery slope you could start lusting after the different SH variations from over the years, then move up or down (or both) in size and start lusting after BM's or Badgers, or .................:eek::eek:

Welcome to the trough !

by god, man, you started with the HOFSH? that IS the plunge!

GORGEOUS blade!

Congrats on a beautiful knife! Problem with them big blades is they're hard to hide from the Mrs. :D

Not to worry Hank, there's one for sale at the company store right now with your name all over it.

Yeah Man! Way to start the ball rolling! Top of the line Flagship! Gotta love it.

Congrats on a beautiful knife. Now go chop down a tree!

Stay Strong & No Regrets!

Wow - what a way to start the addicition. Welcome to the forum. That is a totally killer blade and a pretty cool pic as well.

Well Eric if they're that bad send them to me. I know at least I'll appreciate them. ;)

I started with the same knife. BTW, what pack is that and where did you get your medical emblems. I like the blood type and "no known drug allergies" (NKDA) emblems. I'm always getting into hair raising situations and want that.

Dahsyat,

Looks like Crye made their Multi Cam to blend in well with Jerry's tigerstripe micarta! Excellent pic of two pieces of first rate kit that were born to go together. Who made the pack? Kifaru? Blackwater? Semper Paratus?

Muy Bueno.

I tried to have a positive outlook and ordered the LE-HOFSH. I figured from that point on, the slope ought to be gentle to climb, slippery maybe…he..he.., but hopefully not too steep… :D

I am glad you like the picture. In case you fancy a higher resolution version, you can find it here:

ERdept and X-Head: The packs are made by Kifaru ( www.kifaru.net). It’s a Multicam E&E piggybacked to a Coyote-Tan Marauder. The E&E has a Multicam small medic pouch attached to it made by Essential Tactical and also a single mag-pouch made by High Speed Gear ( http://www.highspeedgearinc.com/). There is also a Maxpedition mini rollypoly dump pouch attached to its side. I can easily move the small medic pouch to my other PALS-compatible backpacks…, very convenient. As for the flags and patches, you can get them from Linda at Camotech ( http://www.camotech.com/sew/). She’s very nice to deal with.

The pattern on the handle did remind me of my camo gear, and that’s why I photographed them together. They really do mix well together don't they? And the curves on the knife remind me of my acoustic guitar…., and the…ooppss…I should just stop right here, don’t want to violate any forum regulations. BTW, is there some hallucinatic substance within the INFI formula? I was in a non-ventilated room when I handle the knife…. :D

I have a stupid newbie question for you: Should I oil the knife to keep it in shape? I just put a light coat of EEZOX. Did I just screw up?
