I was standing by what was said, and I still do. Just because I sell SOG and Gerber doesn't mean I would blindly stand behind them and praise the knives if I knew the buyer wouldn't like it. Here on the forums I will say what I believe, and that is that you can get a lot more knife for your dollar by investiing in RAT cutlery and/or other knives of equal cost. Now, SOG's fixed blades are nice, I personally carry a field pup with leather sheath, but that's my choice - inexpensive and durable. Gerber is one of the first companies I would buy from, but the blades never held an edge and always had a dingy feel. Then I found this place and quickly became a steel snob
I say buy what makes you happy and I will gladly supply it
