Ok, so I have been here for some years, and what was a hobby became something way stronger and enjoyable. I set forth to make something with my hands that not only I could use, but other knuts could too. I hope my offerings find favor among you and I will do my best to keep this ball rolling for as long as I can. God Bless y'all!

This first batch consist of blades made from Aldo's 52100 & AEB-L; designed, cut, ground, handled, sharpened & sheathed by me, the arguably most critical aspect of it, i.e. the heat treat, was left to a professional company recognized and used by many in here, Peter's (59 Rc for 52100, 60 Rc for AEB-L). I'm really satisfied with the service from both companies, really good stuff.

Prices include shipping in the US via USPS priority, and payment with PayPal (net or gift) is preferred, but postal M.O.s are ok; I would prefer to ship these blades stateside but any international buyer is welcome to inquire and see what can be done. All feedback, good or bad, is really appreciated. Beckerheads and Ka-Bar Krew get a 10% discount! please let me know with your # when you order, thanks.

#1 Specs:
- 52100 steel
- 5/32" thick stock

- kydex sheath spaced for big tek-lok
- 10.5" OAL, 5.25" blade
*there are some minor scratches on the grind from the kydex, knocked off 5$* $145

Ok, on to the kitchen blades. These don't have sheaths, they are all the same AEB-L as used on knife #2 with G10 scales and stainless pins

That is all...for now. I still have 4 blades back from HT that need to be finished, and 20+ more that need to be sent to Peter's. Hope you liked them! all comments are welcome, thanks again.

You have the talent! Designs are fresh, yet not radical. Materials blend well together. Color choices are outstanding.

# 2 is my personal favorite! Haven't seen another knife quite like it!

Really like #3, if it was a little bigger I would be sorely tempted. Love the sheath detail as well.

thanks for the kind words! Red Angel, I fought off that temptation a couple weeks ago, even asked advice from a trusted friend, lol. Allen207, now that you mention it, one of the blades that are waiting to be finished is a bigger version of #3, I think it has a 7" blade. The Burgh, I also like #2... a lot :D I made 3 in this style and kept one as it had some deep scratches that I didn't want to sand off (and I wanted to keep it hehehe). The 3rd one is a bigger version of it with burgundy burlap scales, already finished and just waiting for a kydex sheath to be made soon.

Congratulations on the new membership, I like what I see. I will be keeping a eye on your posts.
Good luck.

Cutchu, replied to your message. Let's wait until tomorrow and then I will hold it for you if still available. Thank you!

very nice blades..i like the way you used that buckle on the sheath snap.
Yes indeed. Don't you hate it when you inadvertently cut the strap/band while pulling the knife out.
This design totally solves it.:thumbup:

The whole package is pretty sweet.

My leather working teacher always stresses the importance of avoiding the edge contacting the strap as much as possible, and favors making sheaths for full guard blades as it allows him to cross the strap over the top quillion. Otherwise, he just straps the handle. I prefer a lower strap as it allows more movement vs. a strapped handle, but also hate when the strap gets bitten. I will have to dig some more, but I haven't seen the strap done like this before before. If any of you have, please point me in that direction! I love to learn new stuff all the time and give credit where credit is due.

Good choice of materials and on the Peters heat treat. That first one looks totally handy as does #3. If these are your first you may regret not keeping one if you end up going for the long haul. ;)

oooh, but I did, my friend. I made 3 of style #2 and kept one, I have done plenty of food prep and even batonned with it without a problem.

thanks, fellow BH. Here's a teaser pic of what's coming up. Top knife is finished, waiting for a sheath, bottom 3 have been ht'd already and need to be finished.
