First time SY buyer

I realize this is the Swamp Rat forum, but seeing as there is a family connection to Scrapyard knives would it be inappropriate to ask for a first-time buyer recommendation? I'm leaning towards the 6" Scrapper for a multitude of uses.
 
The Ratmandu (RMD) is one of my favorites for a good general multi-purpose knife.

I see that Swamprat may have some in the near future.
 
Busse, Scrapyard and Swamprat are all one family.
All have the same warranty.

people love their 6's in a big way. the s5 is a bit smaller but great all arounder and easier to find for less. SOD is great all around camp knife too...lots of great choices!
