I am starting my first knive mod.a cheap milano stilleto, I want to try some file work and replace the knive blade with a spoon i think one of those collector sugar spoons will work. i have a fairly well stocked shop,
Now for the problem, i disassembled the knife, I ground the rivets flat and used a small punch to drive them out. Now these were pretty tight. How do i install the new rivets? Should they be slightly oversize? I do have a hydraulic press.
Also i'm wondering about peening them over once installed, back in shop class, going back many years, i think we had a tool for making them look good
