First try for a mirror finish.

I've been working on this little 1095 skinner for a few weeks, and figured that while I had it on the bench, I may as well give it a polish. Sandpaper wetted with dish soap through 2000 grit, leather with black CrO rouge, wet leather to finish. I think I might go up to green compound.

What do you think?

Looks pretty good to me but the pic is a little small.

I can try putting up a larger pic, but there isn't much more to see- the mirrored finish ends more or less at those filed plunge lines.

It looks ok,but if you realy want to see the finish take it outside and look at it from diff. angles in the bright sun.
