First try, izula/HEST sheaths

One idea I had is to leave an extra flap of kydex and fold it over to make a pocket clip. Also it needs a version with a 2" belt loop on each side.

I've made a couple kydex pocket clips from scrap pieces, I prefer that just in case they break its easy to replace

for a first attempt those look great man, keep up the good work.

Big +1!

Yours look much better than my first attempts at bending kydex for the Izula :D

Been making my own sheaths for 6 months now - easily saved close to $500, if not more, and had a ton of fun doing it!

Keep it up!!!

Great job! I found knifekits to be very easy to deal with...

Kydex is pretty cheap and experimentation doesn't get too costly.

Did you use your actual toaster oven or a junker one that you no longer use for food?
I wasn't sure if there was any gas-off or fumes released in the heating process - I have a heat gun, but that's really only good for small sections - I've been hesitant to toss it into the only toaster oven we have only to get the malocchio when my wife comes home and the kitchen reeks of burnt plastic!
