First try with Kydex

I know this should go in ATG but I don't have a paid membership anymore. Yesterday mom and I both picked up a couple of Bersa Thunder 380 pistols and I decided to make a holster for mine instead of trying to find one and I remembered I had 3 sheets of .060 kydex laying around and a couple of belt clips and chicago screws and rivets and the rivet tool. I know I did it inside out but I wasn't thinking when I cut it. So how did I do for my first time?

Naw, that didn't happen. How you been man? Did I ever show yall the 5foot 60lb gator gar I shot off my back deck?
 
I like the design, but the shiny side is usually on the inside. The rough side out.

Sorry, I didin't read your first post thoroughly. Good thing about kydex is it is really cheap. What did you use for a press?

Well I figured that since I messed up by doing it inside out that I would have to make the mag holder the same. Hows it look? If I need to take some better shots of it let me know and I will get them when I get back from school tonight.

My gun is already scratched and I'm not too worried about that since it was already used when I got it and its not a show piece. If it was a show piece that would be different, that holster would be in the trash.

Glad you are still alive and kickin'.
For those who have wondered where he has been, Jason has been taking welding classes.

On this sheath, you should have made a new holster with the Kydex right side out - not make the ammo holder wrong,too. Kydex is cheap, your reputation, and what your work says about you is priceless.

I only did the ammo holder like that on purpose so that they would match. I plan to make a new set later on and make sure they are not inside out.
