Well, they are here - pictured with my previous favorite, a Cabela's 'Alaskan Guide' (S30V with Al-Ti-N coating):

Real Bliss
Here are my current Damascus steel knives: A Bear MGC 14" Bowie, a Custom Shop Buck 110, and a Kershaw Damascus Leek.

The AL made Bear Bowie was a closeout for $108 with shipping, the Leek was $84 with shipping. The custom 110 is unique, for sure!

I am indeed a fortunate man. Heck, a Wally World 110 is a great piece!

Had to share...

Very nice. Is Buck currently doing the 110 in Damascus, or did you get it elsewhere? They don't show it as available at the website.

thx

Very nice, Stainz! It is interesting how the Koa wood sort of matches the Damascus.

Simply beautiful!

That Fiji orangewood would make the knife very visible if dropped in the field....kinda like "hi-vize orange".

What is the handle material on the Damascus 110? Nice looking knife. As asked earlier, did you get the Damascus at the Custom Shop?

hubba hubba !!!
sweet looking ....
ya know i rather look at you all's knives then x - girlfriend pictures!

Sorry, I didn't get back to the computer last night. The scales on their Damascus bladed custom are 'flaming Koa'. I just asked when I called to order a BG-42/Koa if it was ever available... and it was -that day. Apparently it is very limited supply, thus it is not listed as available. Just ask about it's availability when you call. I was indeed quite fortunate. Of course, it was a day or so later when I realized I hadn't ordered the BG-42 knife I wanted, too - so I called back and ordered that one, too.

I love them both, but can't help but ponder how much less contrasting the brass ends would have been with that orange wood. It looks so close to 'Osage Orange', like from Texas. Wow, what a blade, too! The flaming Koa really is wild - and a great 'match', interest-wise, with the neat Damascus. I was shocked at the Damascus - it was nearly as good at shaving my arm hair as the BG-42! They were 'worth the wait', that's for sure.

Of course, for the best deal, per pound of CS Damascus, that is, the made-in-Alabama Bear 14" Bowie is the leader! Reportedly, they make the Kershaw Leek's blade, too. Hands down, the limited availability blade Buck employs is prettier.

Makes you wonder what run of Damascus bladed knives Buck had going that there was some Damascus sheet (or pieces) left over for odd lot jobs like the Custom Shoppe does... :)

We'll have to keep an eye on Russell and the other niche vendors and find out... ;)

To all the girls I loved before...
That wanted Damascus from the Buck custom store...
I checked with them 14 days ago...
The have some 110 blades left
But ya better write a check
Before they all end up out the door

I ordered my stainless damascus 110NS KOA as soon as I heard from Buck they had some of that steel left.
Will have it in "nine weeks".

Am GUESSING that the steel is not exclusive to Buck.
Do a GOOGLE search for "CASE RAINDROP DAMASCUS" and you'll see what I mean, Jelly Bean.
