This is my first crack at a fillet knife,I will definitly do more like this one with some improvements.
The blade is a full flat grind from 3/32" 1095, clay quenched with neoprene scales and micarta pins.A little fish filework on the spine made me happier making this one.:)

Thats really cool file work. Its like the WWJD fish on the back of cars. If you could mill heyzeus in the Fish there might be a market for it =) Awesome knife:thumbup:

i know what it is i typed it but for some reason it wont allow the je sus to go thru on my pc but thats just a joke lets
not stray from the fact the man made a damn nice knife.

Neat knife Joe! I also like the file work...I can't say that I've ever seen file work like that before. -Matt-

I thought it was unique to me untill I googled fish file work :( One other maker has a pattern similar on a folder, but his is a little more detailed and better done :o I just hate to throw them out for a few little flaws.I'll just beat them to death.

My wife asked me when I would start selling knives,I told her to think of it like making bacon in a pan,you just have to have the fist few peices for your self :D

Nice fillet knife Joe i like the little fish. If you ever plan to ware that one out in a lifetime you must catch a lot more than me!

I like it a lot.. nevermind.. you thought of it in isolation, so it was a good idea. I admire your patience.
