Right. Because blood, fish guts, offal (and their scents) will never, ever, ever wash off. That's why all of the knives we've all used to hunt and fish over the years still reek to high heaven. [emoji58]


These comments are like a train wreck. Complete disaster, but I just can't turn away.

my sheath is polyester. so blood and guts and fish junk tend to stick to the fabric of the sheath.
 
Just wash your knife before you put it in the sheath. Thought cleaning a knife before resheathing was standard practice.

That shrimp and mackerel ought to work great on catfish.
I am booked on an overnight trip for next Tuesday. Now the preps begin. :thumbup:
