Fishing Gear

Nice triple tail. I've only caught one of those. Off the Pensacola Bay bridge/fishing pier. It was sniffing around the shrimp in my bait bucket. I tossed down a Gotcha lure, and it nailed it.

On a Gotcha, nice job! This one came up on a jig tipped with shrimp at a channel marker off of Flamingo, FL

Ya I can't spell sorry about that, and the roll eye thing said sarcastic in parenthesis so thats what I was trying to do. I'm not too good at typing sarcasm yet. :confused:

esav usually drops a note saying he did it. otherwise, there's not much in the way of telling who did it, which is annoying kinda ;)

as well, the ESEE forum has all kinds of random poop like this thread, and nobody goes moving their stuf that i can see, eh? Beckerheads being Beckery... someone post a Becker photo with their fish ;) should stay here.

but that's just me, and being grouchy ;)

I'm in agreement. We're trying to build a community in the Becker forum, and Becker happens to be an outdoor oriented line of knives. Makes perfect sense that the people in that community be able to share some outdoor activities with one another.

I always thought the Manufacturer forums got a little more leeway. Lord knows I've seen tons of off-the-wall stuff in ESEE and Busse. I never saw anyone complaining or reporting posts.

I find it better to just insult tonym directly. That way, there's no confusion. :D

Cool. From what I understand they do like to stay topside and often are found around floating vegetation/seaweed. You're right about the good eating. Similar to snapper.

Insults I can take, snide little remarks or sarcastic comments from someone I don't know, about a subject they obviously have no experience in is annoying to me....



Ken C, how about we move this thread back to Becker, or atleast the fishing forum.. Have you been drinking again??? Gadgets and Gear??? come on now.. ;)

And by the way, Did you ever get your NYC DEP license? We need to hook up this spring to rip the lips off some large mouth! :thumbup:

I meant no disrespect. And ya I haven't fished since I was 10, and now I'm trying to get into it. I enjoy learning new things, and that's why I ask a lot of questions. Obviously the triple tail is local to you but not to me. Around here we have salmon. If you want if ever you are out this was I'll take ya out and buy you a beer and salmon a dinner. :)

And speaking of learning; today a friend of mine took me out on his boat and we went fishing. I caught two trout before I had to get back home. We took a pic of them on the boat with me, but it was on his camera. I'll have to get that from him.

You seam like a good guy. Sorry if I got a little aggrivated. There are many fish in the sea, and I would love to catch every kind one day. I travelled all over the place in search of good fishing and have tasted allot of types of fish.

Salmon is good, I think Halibut is better. Both are readily available in many Super Markets, which doesn't compare with catching them and eating them fresh that night. I never caught a Halibut, but going to Alaska is on my short list, and you bet I will be doing some fishing when I get there.

The Tripple Tail is warm water fish and not found where I live. That one was caught down in Ocean part of the Evergaldes.

If I ever make it too the PNW, I will take you up on your offer, and the same goes if your ever out here.

We are cool bro. :thumbup:
