Great haul of trout Jason!!! I can attest to bass boats being money pits! Between fuel, maintnaince, and so on it never ends...:D I've always wanted to go down to Mexico and fish for Peacock Bass!!! Do you have any way down South on the border anywhere?!?!

Thanks, You can join the club about the Peacock bass fishing idea. I've always wanted to go too but in Mexico, there are only Peacock bass way down south. A few years ago I woulda went but the thought of getting my head sawed off with a dull knife prevents me from going now. I'm saving for a Costa Rica trip someday for some peacock bass fishing. I went to Florida a couple of years ago and saw several in the Canals but all I had was light tackle. I got one to bite but he snapped the line in no time. I did catch some odd looking cichlids and several oscars though:

Little Largemouth, under 2 pounds. I actually caught for the second time the day after I took this picture. I caught it under the same tree both times, and it had a small hole in it's lip from the first time I caught it, which is what made me realize that I'd already caught it.

Snapper Bluefish caught in Ocean City, Maryland. Yes, the fish is almost the same size as the Gotcha Plug that I caught it on! I was fishing off a bridge under the lights and the blues were hitting schooling baitfish, I've caught a lot of these little guys before.

I'm too lazy to take out all my rods and saltwater tackle for a picture. I don't have any pictures of my kayak either. I have a crappy kayak now, but I'm hoping to get a nicer one before the beginning of next season.

J/K...someday brother,...someday!

Sorry, I was trying to motivate you! Anyone who likes to top water fish needs to go Peacock Bass fishing! I have never seen such aggressive strikes in my life!

Those fish were from a trip I took 10 years ago to Venezuela. What a beautiful place!

Peacock Bass fishing is awesome...

Here is one I caught in Singapore...

Here is a 7lbder caught in Miami, in a like about 3 min from my house. You have to get saltwater hooks on your freshwater lures for fish this size.
