Fishing Kayak

I would classify that as a sit on top; there is no way to attach a spray skirt and there are two scuppers right under the seat. Suppers under your seat usually mean a wet butt. It isn't a good idea to plug them usually because if you wind up taking water over the side it can't drain out.
 
Love the Ocean Kayaks which invented SOTs. In the early 90s in the Keys I sold, rented [at Bahia Honda State Park] and even conducted some tours.
 
If you check into dry suits, they are rather expensive from my point of view. But in the colder months, you need to stay dry and sit on tops are wet.

I was just looking over the Nantahala River today and thinking it might be fun to go down that river with my sit on top if I pay attention to some of the higher risk rapids. I saw many fly fisherman out up stream from the power house which surprised me for January.
